The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mugur Bejenaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Ekedalen SK fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Ekedalen SK's Anders Christiansen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Pyrgetos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikiforos Karnezakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Afraga got free with Omar Nicholas in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
