In the 4th minute Hungarian Olympic were awarded a corner. Endre Révész went to the cornerflag to take it. Mátyás Zakariás was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Montes Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Belarmo in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Ernesto Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montes Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Belarmo got free with Montes Quevedo in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miladin Kirichev in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montes Quevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Montes Quevedo had great luck who in the 14thth minute grab hold of the ball when Miladin Kirichev from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 20th minute Miladin Kirichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montes Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Rivas in the 21st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Montes Quevedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 23 minutes into the match, Ernesto Belarmo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fetiyerd's Montes Quevedo. Montes Quevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Belarmo in the 26th minute of play forced Fetiyerd's goalkeeper Montes Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hungarian Olympic's Miladin Kirichev in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fetiyerd's Montes Quevedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Fetiyerd getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vinicio Carballeira hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Miladin Kirichev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Miladin Kirichev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Belarmo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fetiyerd's Arjen Robben got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Lukács Bánhegyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Mezquita in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hungarian Olympic fully deserved thier win.
