Alkaios Palatzas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Näver in the 12th minute of play forced Pyrgetos FC's goalkeeper Omar Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Kakotaridis came free, but Malcolm Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Melin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thomas Kakotaridis struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Malcolm Wall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pyrgetos FC. 21 minutes into the match, Johannes Axelsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Nicholas. Pyrgetos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Axelsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 31 minutes, Babbis Koutsis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pyrgetos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Koutsis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Melin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute of the match, Johannes Axelsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Omar Nicholas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bengt-Åke Biörk kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nikiforos Karnezakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pyrgetos FC's Omar Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Melin in the 57th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Pauliström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Biörk to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match, Nikiforos Karnezakis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Malcolm Wall was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Johannes Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Pauliström booed when Pyrgetos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Benakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Wall was a little too slow when Vaggelis Benakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-2. After 88 minutes of play, Pyrgetos FC's Nikiforos Karnezakis made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Malcolm Wall was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Kakotaridis struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Malcolm Wall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pyrgetos FC. George Beckeman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Omar Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pyrgetos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bengt-Åke Biörk was slow to take the kick. During this time Pauliström's players had a chance to rest. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pyrgetos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
