After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, FC Pierońskie Hanysy's Zbyszek Sokol got a free kick in the 51st minute. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The audience held their breath when Bernard Lesiecki in the 71st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ergo Muro's left hand side. The supporters of FC Pierońskie Hanysy booed when Caatiba MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Valdomiro Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernard Lesiecki struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ergo Muro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pierońskie Hanysy. In the 82nd minute Niceto Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Sipos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. István Sipos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 87th minute. Niceto Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without István Sipos having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
