After a rather tough play, Ekedalen SK's Tomas Nyström got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Endre Révész sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Renato Dionísio skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Renato Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Belarmo in the 30th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Ernesto Belarmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Belarmo in the 33rd minute of play forced Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Renato Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Ekedalen SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Belarmo came free, but Paulo Renato Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Eliasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Renato Dionísio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Paulo Renato Dionísio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 90 minutes, Miladin Kirichev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungarian Olympic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miladin Kirichev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Miladin Kirichev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hungarian Olympic's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
