When Holger Ettur came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FC Pierońskie Hanysy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Ettur couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Holger Ettur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pierońskie Hanysy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 27 played minutes FC Pierońskie Hanysy got a freekick which was hit by Šahzudin Burić. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Bejenaru in the 31st minute of play forced FC Pierońskie Hanysy's goalkeeper István Sipos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Román Verdeja lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Pierońskie Hanysy! István Sipos had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Anders Christiansen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Anders Christiansen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of István Sipos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dariusz Serwach's late challenge caught a Ekedalen SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dariusz Serwach helped the player get up and apologised. Dariusz Serwach kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

István Sipos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Christiansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of FC Pierońskie Hanysy echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ekedalen SK had held the ball for most of the match.
