Emanuel Giurcă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grzegorz Sidor went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Marius Măgură got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Marian Trynda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grzegorz Sidor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Robert Răducu came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the FC Fanaticii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Răducu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Ganea in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Szombry's goalkeeper Barnaba Cetnar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Szombry's Barnaba Cetnar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Răducu in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's Marius Ganea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barnaba Cetnar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Robert Răducu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Szombry's Barnaba Cetnar. Barnaba Cetnar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute Marius Ganea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Cetnar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Giurcă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 91st minute Robert Răducu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bartlomiej Pieknik's late challenge caught a FC Fanaticii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartlomiej Pieknik helped the player get up and apologised. FC Fanaticii made a substitution. Ernest Poplăcean replaced Robert Răducu. Bartlomiej Pieknik hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Szombry defense, Șerban Nanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barnaba Cetnar. The FC Szombry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barnaba Cetnar should have stopped the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
