Arvid Bremming made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Marian Ciolpan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Beneth in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Codruț Maior got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 34 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Marin. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ionuț Marin hit a great ball. When Dumitru Bușcu fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paralia Athens's protests and gave Dumitru Bușcu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Dumitru Bușcu hit a great ball. Sandu Glăvan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionuț Marin made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Fredric Rudqvist made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paralia Athens's Marian Ciolpan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Paralia Athens's Marian Ciolpan got control of the ball when Ludwig Beneth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paralia Athens's Ionuț Marin pulled a muscle in his leg after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arvid Bremming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paralia Athens's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Fredric Rudqvist scored to the left of an out of position Marian Ciolpan, making the score, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Octav Agulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvid Bremming was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
