In the 9th match minute, FC Szombry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartlomiej Pieknik to maneuver through the defense. Benedykt Siembab struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Barnaba Cetnar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gortaty. A collision led to FC Szombry getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Grzegorz Sidor hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Marian Trynda took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jedrzej Molski to make any attempt to save it. Barnaba Cetnar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Kosakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Sidor came free, but Jedrzej Molski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marian Trynda fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Szombry's protests and gave Marian Trynda a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes FC Szombry got a freekick which was hit by Marian Trynda. With a little luck, Gortaty's Jedrzej Molski got control of the ball when Marian Trynda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, FC Szombry's Grzegorz Sidor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jedrzej Molski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Grzegorz Sidor kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grzegorz Sidor made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Cezary Mosiniak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gortaty and the FC Szombry players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cezary Mosiniak kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jedrzej Molski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Sidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marian Trynda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stasio Kosakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedykt Siembab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Barnaba Cetnar made a huge save. Walery Falkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gortaty's Jedrzej Molski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Liermann in the 69th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Gustaw Basaik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 80th minute of the match Marian Trynda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marian Trynda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Arkadiusz Grajewski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Stasio Kosakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Radowit Siedlecki fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gortaty's protests and gave Radowit Siedlecki a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Radowit Siedlecki. FC Szombry were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gortaty for a fine match.
