Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Iordache Ţugui fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paralia Athens's protests and gave Iordache Ţugui a yellow card for diving instead. Iordache Ţugui hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Carl Kjellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Nicolescu having to interfere. Paralia Athens were furious when Teodor Chirilă was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a defensive mix-up in Paralia Athens's zone, Erik Sjödin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Nicolescu came out of the goal and Erik Sjödin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Petre Maghiran could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Sören Zachrisson however easily saved by the left post. Petre Maghiran might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sören Zachrisson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petre Maghiran ran back to his position shaking his head. Petre Maghiran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Nicolescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Godholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Marghescu to maneuver through the defense. Fomac FK's Carl Kjellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Enciulescu. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Manuel Marghescu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Daniel Kiempe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Cristian Nicolescu made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Charles Torstensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Kjellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Nicolescu having to interfere. Rutger Godholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Nicolescu having to interfere. Fomac FK's Bengt-Åke Alebeck was substituted for Daniel Kiempe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Godholm in the 71st minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Cristian Nicolescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fomac FK's Charles Torstensson got a free kick in the 75th minute. Fomac FK's Sören Zachrisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Maghiran in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Rutger Godholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fomac FK and the Paralia Athens players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fomac FK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rutger Godholm hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Petre Maghiran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralia Athens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petre Maghiran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sören Zachrisson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Maghiran in the 81st minute of play. Bengt-Åke Alebeck came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristian Nicolescu could save by the left post. A collision led to Fomac FK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Karl-Michael Söder hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Petre Maghiran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paralia Athens's supporters rose to their feet, but Petre Maghiran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sören Zachrisson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
