Emanuel Giurcă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Rzeszutek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milosz Rzeszutek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Giurcă having to make a save. 14 minutes into the game, Benedykt Siembab lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Emanuel Giurcă. In the 18th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Măgură to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Czeslaw Skrzypiec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortaty's supporters rose to their feet, but Czeslaw Skrzypiec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Giurcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marius Măgură charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marius Măgură the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Fanaticii's Emanuel Giurcă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC Fanaticii from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Emanuel Giurcă successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Gortaty booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Ciocâlteu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gortaty's zone, Adrian Jitaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karol Kopacz came out of the goal and Adrian Jitaru tried to chip the ball over his head. Benedykt Siembab was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Gortaty's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedykt Siembab to strike the kick off in the second half. When Benedykt Siembab came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Gortaty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedykt Siembab couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Bogdan Buzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gortaty the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of FC Fanaticii:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gortaty:s goal. FC Fanaticii's Bogdan Buzea got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Bogdan Buzea off the ground. The supporters of Gortaty booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Buzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Benedykt Siembab sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Giurcă skillfully saved the ball. Emanuel Giurcă came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Gortaty's Milosz Rzeszutek. But to his dismay, Milosz Rzeszutek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 89 minutes, Milosz Rzeszutek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gortaty and the FC Fanaticii players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Milosz Rzeszutek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Fanaticii's Emanuel Giurcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Skrzypiec in the 93rd minute of play. Milosz Rzeszutek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Giurcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Siembab in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Fanaticii players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gortaty.
