In the 10th minute Marian Trynda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Tobias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Zygmunt Bugajski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With his leg Barnaba Cetnar managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Legia Warszawa 【L】's Florian Pryputnicki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Legia Warszawa 【L】 booed when FC Szombry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Ziemba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Bugajski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Barnaba Cetnar. Zygmunt Bugajski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Pryputnicki got free with Barnaba Cetnar in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barnaba Cetnar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Czeszyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Florian Pryputnicki could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Barnaba Cetnar however easily saved by the left post. Kacper Tobias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Liermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Zygmunt Bugajski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Barnaba Cetnar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kacper Tobias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Liermann in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Barnaba Cetnar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th match minute, FC Szombry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Liermann to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Zygmunt Bugajski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Cetnar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damazy Czeszyk in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnaba Cetnar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Damazy Czeszyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legia Warszawa 【L】 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 80 minutes of play, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Zygmunt Bugajski made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnaba Cetnar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, FC Szombry's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Czeszyk came free, but Barnaba Cetnar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Damazy Czeszyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Cetnar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Bogumil Tscherner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legia Warszawa 【L】's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Szombry the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Bogumil Tscherner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Marian Trynda from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Kacper Tobias's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
