The Paralia Athens fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Belmiro Godoi made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Petre Maghiran sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Paralia Athens's Belmiro Godoi threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iulian Doinaș, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Academia B.F.'s Belmiro Godoi got control of the ball when Iulian Doinaș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Guilherme Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Nicolescu having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Iulian Doinaș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paralia Athens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia B.F. the free kick. After 70 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Doinaș. 78 minutes into the game, Eliézer Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia B.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paralia Athens the free kick. Petre Maghiran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Iulian Doinaș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gelu Beșliu charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gelu Beșliu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gelu Beșliu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
