The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurențiu Pârâianu should have stopped the shot. Laurențiu Pârâianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrianinho Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Adrianinho Meirelles put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Laurențiu Pârâianu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Vasco Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Nicodim in the 73rd minute of play. Laurențiu Pârâianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andriy Kaká, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mai Bin Kuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Laurențiu Pârâianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Mai Bin Kuan notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of DINAMO's Laurențiu Pârâianu. Laurențiu Pârâianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the game, Mai Bin Kuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Laurențiu Pârâianu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
