Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Olentzaro in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st minute Emiliano Caiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Cresenciano came free, but Ralph Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Larsson made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jan de Vlieger sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jakov Cvjetković managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakov Cvjetković was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Larsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan de Vlieger made a kick off. A collision led to Club Atletico Fenix getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fabian Arenaza hit a great ball. Club Atletico Fenix's Anders Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan de Vlieger in the 56th minute of play. Anders Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Caiola in the 61st minute of play forced Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Anders Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Cresenciano charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jacinto Olentzaro spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Caiola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Larsson was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 94th match minute, Club Atletico Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Otoniel to maneuver through the defense. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
