In the 6th minute of the match Rasnita got a corner. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horaţiu Chelbea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alex Cunea made a great header on Rasnita's corner, it was just that Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Cunea in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavius Ferenț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Sá's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Flavius Ferenț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Sá in the 22nd minute of play. Aníbal Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Apăvăloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Ştercă in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Breno Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Ferenț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavius Ferenț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Sá in the 38th minute of the match. Sebastian Toacsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Alex Cunea got free in front of the goal in the 39th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Haroldo Dante was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Cunea to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga defense, Sebastian Toacsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Dante. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Dante should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Alex Cunea sped through Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haroldo Dante. A collision led to Clube Atl. Taquaritinga getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. In the 91st minute Breno Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Ferenț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Valer Fecioru got a free kick in the 91st minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rasnita were victorious despite being under pressure from Clube Atl. Taquaritinga for much of the match.
