The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Rico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chico Donato was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Lara in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jeronimo Rico took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Chico Donato to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute, Jorginho Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Rasiak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chico Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Roberto Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Donato came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Rico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some careless play in the DIPLOMATA FC PAB defense, Jeronimo Rico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chico Donato. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Donato should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in DIPLOMATA FC PAB's zone, Jeronimo Rico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Donato came out of the goal and Jeronimo Rico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Olivier Gilg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olivier Gilg to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Jeronimo Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olivier Gilg. Jeronimo Rico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico Donato having to make a save. 55 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Rico came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Jeronimo Rico made a precise shot to the right of Chico Donato. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Rico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chico Donato was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. America Futebol Clube SP's Iago Bala was substituted for Jeronimo Rico. 78 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Iago Bala came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Iago Bala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak got control of the ball when Olivier Gilg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in DIPLOMATA FC PAB's zone, Ahmet Kadri Ucatekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Donato came out of the goal and Ahmet Kadri Ucatekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olivier Gilg got free with Stefan Rasiak in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. America Futebol Clube SP had won after a very even match.
