The crowd rose to their feet as Turgut Soyuer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Allan Varela. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Albano Jaunzuria kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Åman came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Varela made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Turgut Soyuer sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute of the match PREZULO FC got a corner. Palestra do Interior's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Shi Xi Zhen ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by PREZULO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hudson Sergipano was slow to take the kick. During this time Palestra do Interior's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Hudson Sergipano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isaac Ferreira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Turgut Soyuer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PREZULO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turgut Soyuer to make the kick off. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 59th minute of play. PREZULO FC's Ferhat Sertuğ pulled a muscle in his back after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 61 minutes into the game, Herbert Pankowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palestra do Interior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PREZULO FC the free kick. Herbert Pankowski hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Pankowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 62ndth minute of the game Turgut Soyuer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Turgut Soyuer came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Varela came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer. But to his dismay, Turgut Soyuer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. PREZULO FC made a substitution. Mari Balotelli replaced Turgut Soyuer. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mari Balotelli in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Saulão Chettle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PREZULO FC's Albano Jaunzuria managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jorginho Ferreira in the 82 minute of the game. Mari Balotelli struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Allan Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PREZULO FC. After 89 minutes of play, PREZULO FC's Mari Balotelli made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evripidis Picoulas hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PREZULO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palestra do Interior had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
