The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Olivier Gilg in the 10th minute really tested Edvaldo Brasil's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Edvaldo Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Lopes in the 13th minute. With a little luck, SAS's Edvaldo Brasil got control of the ball when Roberto Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Lopes in the 32nd minute of play. Edvaldo Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Lopes in the 33rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Christian Carrier was substituted for Kenny Rothwell. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Salles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Chico Donato made a huge save. After a rather tough play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Pars Yorgun got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Pars Yorgun hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SAS's zone, Roberto Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Brasil came out of the goal and Roberto Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Gilg in the 69th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Donato made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Edgar Salles sent off a good shot on target. Edvaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 79th minute of play.
