An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Salles in the 8th minute of play forced The Power Guido FC's goalkeeper Kılıçhan Mertkal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the The Power Guido FC defense, Edgar Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kılıçhan Mertkal. The The Power Guido FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kılıçhan Mertkal should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Alonzo Carrillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, João Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Luiz Guilherme Paraense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kılıçhan Mertkal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kılıçhan Mertkal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Salles in the 20th minute of play. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save SAS from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, The Power Guido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Salles came free, but Kılıçhan Mertkal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, The Power Guido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Carrillos to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Long John took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Edvaldo Brasil to make any attempt to save it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agostinho Carneiro to make the kick off. The supporters of SAS booed when The Power Guido FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long John in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, The Power Guido FC's Long John made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvaldo Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glauco Baiano took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kılıçhan Mertkal. Kılıçhan Mertkal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Sandrinho Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandrinho Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SAS's Sandrinho Valle got a free kick in the 69th minute. Agostinho Carneiro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. SAS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Power Guido FC's Sandro Joabe was substituted for Faustão Arantes. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Rafael Carioca put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Edvaldo Brasil. In the 86th match minute, The Power Guido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Edvaldo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Toledo in the 88th minute of the match. Lenílson Toledo spun around in front of the goal 89 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SAS's goal. 92 minutes into the match, Rafael Carioca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvaldo Brasil. SAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Carioca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 96th minute, Aílton Rezende ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. There was no doubt that The Power Guido FC were the better team. The Power Guido FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
