Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Nilson Peres successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Sandrinho Valle with Olívio Marques as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Sand in the 29th minute of play. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save ITAFUT 4EVER from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, José Sand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 36th minute José Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after SAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Paul Møffelmand took the corner. ITAFUT 4EVER's Marquinhos Best was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edvaldo Brasil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Sand in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvaldo Brasil saved SAS from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agostinho Carneiro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, José Sand dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edvaldo Brasil, 0-4. José Sand scored 0-5 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Baiano came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Sand took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Brasil. Edvaldo Brasil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute of the match ITAFUT 4EVER got a corner. SAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jean-Paul Møffelmand ran over to the corner to take the kick. 81 minutes into the match, SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sidney Bertassi. Jardel Baggio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edvaldo Brasil came out and tried to block the shot, but Jardel Baggio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 83rd minute. SAS's Edvaldo Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Nascimento in the 90th minute of play. Edvaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Paul Møffelmand, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Edvaldo Brasil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The SAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ITAFUT 4EVER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
