Palestra do Interior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeng Xu Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Luiz Fernando de Lara hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Vitório Lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Maria Goiano. Vitório Lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evripidis Picoulas during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Evripidis Picoulas. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Brysz in the 95th minute of play. In the 95th minute Witalis Brysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Poetass FC fully deserved thier win.
