Gonçalo de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Angelo Peruzzi made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Roneixon Siqueira sent off a good shot on target.

Espigão Steamrollers's Ulisses Carioca was substituted for Walmyr Meira. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when Borussia Dortmund MZB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo de Medeiros came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund MZB's Matheus Savioli. But to his dismay, Matheus Savioli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Espigão Steamrollers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
