Gonçalo de Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ferid Eker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gonçalo de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Kara Bhattacharya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Naldo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Galo in the 61st minute of play. Gonçalo de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Galo in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Velho Barreiro FC's Naldo Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonçalo de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some careless play in the Espigão Steamrollers defense, Bai Ang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonçalo de Medeiros. The Espigão Steamrollers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Velho Barreiro FC made a substitution. Leonardo Gaúcho replaced Ferid Eker. Yuri Paranaense took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Hidalgo. Iker Hidalgo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 79th minute Naldo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Leonardo Gaúcho made a precise shot to the right of Gonçalo de Medeiros. Espigão Steamrollers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Ulisses Aparecido got a free kick in the 87th minute. Leonardo Gaúcho took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonçalo de Medeiros. Gonçalo de Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1.
