The audience was convinced that Maxi Gambetta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysmael Marfil was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. A well-hit corner resulted in Sebastião Henriques heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 34 minutes into the game, one of DINAMO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ysmael Marfil had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Nemesio Cedro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ysmael Marfil made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Maxi Gambetta sent off a good shot on target. The ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Altay Bayındır should have stopped the shot. After 47 played minutes ŦɚȠɚʁ ɃȃҤ₠ ►eryx◄™ got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Ailenei. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxi Gambetta made a kick off. In the 67th minute Stephan Appiah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
