If Bernard Ochabski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Tab scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolás DAndrea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Tab in the 16th minute of play. Defensores del Ángel Gris were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Fracasados's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eleuterio Chabier took the corner. Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Luken, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th match minute, Defensores del Ángel Gris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Blai to maneuver through the defense. Fracasados's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Geronimo Giraldo in the 23rd minute. If Co Fuchs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eleuterio Estebano hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Beti came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Co Fuchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mai Yao Yao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Beti came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Defensores del Ángel Gris defense, Theagenis Papageorgiou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolás DAndrea. The Defensores del Ángel Gris fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolás DAndrea should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Fracasados's goalkeeper Mai Yao Yao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Ochabski. Bernard Ochabski might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mai Yao Yao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernard Ochabski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute Theagenis Papageorgiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás DAndrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theagenis Papageorgiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Roman Urre charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Urre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roman Urre hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernard Ochabski got free with Mai Yao Yao in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Fracasados were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernard Ochabski to make the kick off. Bernard Ochabski kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Theagenis Papageorgiou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mai Yao Yao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Ochabski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea got control of the ball when Isidro Maidana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eleuterio Maraman kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Mai Yao Yao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Ochabski in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Fracasados's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Macias came free, but Mai Yao Yao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Beti, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Defensores del Ángel Gris's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geronimo Giraldo was slow to take the kick. During this time Fracasados's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fracasados's Ciro Tab to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolás DAndrea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 72 minutes, Ciro Tab made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mai Yao Yao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Co Fuchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Javier Beti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolás DAndrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Javier Beti sped through Defensores del Ángel Gris's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolás DAndrea. Theagenis Papageorgiou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Nicolás DAndrea made a huge save. When Clemente Gorbea fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores del Ángel Gris's protests and gave Clemente Gorbea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Defensores del Ángel Gris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. When Theagenis Papageorgiou came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Fracasados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theagenis Papageorgiou couldn't finish the play. Mai Yao Yao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Ochabski's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. After 96 minutes Fracasados's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eleuterio Chabier who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Defensores del Ángel Gris's Romulo Blai to fire away a dangerous shot which Mai Yao Yao despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Fracasados supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fracasados would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
