Nicolás DAndrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Sundberg in the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Van Linthout came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafim Catranides was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Macias in the 50th minute of play forced BK Ugglan's goalkeeper Gustav Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 51 minutes into the game, Co Fuchs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Ugglan the free kick. Dong Ting Fan scored 1-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolás DAndrea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
