Nicolás DAndrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valiente Venezian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Sousa. Cercadinho's Mugurel Zota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Chabier in the 20th minute of play. Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valiente Venezian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Serafim Catranides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Mugurel Zota made a huge save. Valiente Venezian hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Abdulkadir Turay scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolás DAndrea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute, Leo Unzaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdulkadir Turay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mugurel Zota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Golanski in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Defensores del Ángel Gris booed when Cercadinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valiente Venezian was the one to do the kick off. Valiente Venezian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nicolás DAndrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cercadinho's Jailson Mazza was substituted for Luisinho Vinhas. Enrique Gerber made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Defensores del Ángel Gris's Leo Unzaga. Abdulkadir Turay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nicolás DAndrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulkadir Turay got free with Nicolás DAndrea in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valiente Venezian in the 77th minute of play. Cercadinho made a substitution. Edmundo Aparecido replaced Ulf Bergqvist. Abdulkadir Turay struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Nicolás DAndrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cercadinho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valiente Venezian in the 87th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea got control of the ball when Abdulkadir Turay tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Valiente Venezian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolás DAndrea. Valiente Venezian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The Defensores del Ángel Gris supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cercadinho's performance. The match ended with a win for Cercadinho.
