An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Bredberg in the 18th minute of play forced Jordan F1 91-05's goalkeeper Zlatan Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Wiktor Lekberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zlatan Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 32nd minute Giga Mønster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zlatan Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunnar Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ivar Albohm made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Gunnar Nilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Albohm was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Jordan F1 91-05's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Szczepan Szablewski in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Nilsson came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jordan F1 91-05's Zlatan Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Lekberg in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giga Mønster in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zlatan Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zlatan Buffon stood somewhat misplaced when Giga Mønster came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 58 minute. Ivar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Bredberg charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Bredberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Michael Bredberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strömsbro IF made a substitution. Börge Kristiansson replaced Giga Mønster. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Michael Bredberg got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jordan F1 91-05's Per-Erik Öfverman was substituted for Ronnie Peterson. The throw-in from Wiktor Hodyl in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Strömsbro IF's Alvar Mellbad. After 78 minutes of play, Jordan F1 91-05's Gunnar Nilsson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Albohm was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute Kenneth Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Michael Bredberg lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Zlatan Buffon. In the 85th match minute, Jordan F1 91-05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Stenman to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börge Kristiansson got free with Zlatan Buffon in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunnar Nilsson took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Albohm. Ivar Albohm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaf Åström during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gustaf Åström hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The Strömsbro IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Strömsbro IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
