With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Batistuta in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bret Caudill saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. In the 29th minute Charlie Bravo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bret Caudill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Batistuta in the 30th minute of the match. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent Cowan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute of the match S.D. Bajen got a corner. STAL ST WOLA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brent Cowan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Michel Batistuta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bret Caudill. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 37th match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Solecki to maneuver through the defense. Bret Caudill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Bielejewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bret Caudill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michel Batistuta to make the kick off. If Michel Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Tony Kirby. In the 84th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Kirby to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patryk Glogowski in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bret Caudill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zygmunt Bielejewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bret Caudill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Brent Cowan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Glogowski in the 91st minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes S.D. Bajen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boleslaw Nakoneczny who took care of the corner kick. Bret Caudill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Glogowski in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. STAL ST WOLA had won after a very even match.
