The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Ove Håning got free with Roman Matai in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Ove Håning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Roman Matai made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Batistuta in the 8th minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Tony Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Hackspett U21's Tony Henriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 12th minute of play. The STAL ST WOLA fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when STAL ST WOLA's Michel Batistuta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 18 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Brenner came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Zygmunt Bielejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. STAL ST WOLA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michel Batistuta in the 21st minute. The corner led to STAL ST WOLA's Gustaw Bendyk getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. FC Hackspett U21's Tony Henriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to FC Hackspett U21 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Frank Fortune hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alvin Brenner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Matai was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Tony Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvin Brenner to make the kick off. Alvin Brenner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Roman Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Tony Henriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Tony Henriksson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Hackspett U21's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Zygmunt Bielejewski scored to the left of an out of position Tony Henriksson, making the score, 0-3. FC Hackspett U21 made a substitution. Teddy De Hond replaced Edvard Klemensson. After 71 minutes, Ruben Pirro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Hackspett U21 and the STAL ST WOLA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when FC Hackspett U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Pirro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Ove Håning in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Matai saved STAL ST WOLA from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Bielejewski came free, but Tony Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gu Xiao Kun to maneuver through the defense. STAL ST WOLA made a substitution. Mikolaj Lech replaced Zygmunt Bielejewski. Gu Xiao Kun kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When the match was over STAL ST WOLA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Hackspett U21 throughout the match.
