Kingpins were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after STAL ST WOLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guo Ke Peng took the corner. Roger Sandström hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Michel Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Leblanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kingpins's Guo Ke Peng got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henning Strömqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Roman Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Roger Västerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Lundgren in the 23rd minute of play. Zygmunt Bielejewski charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zygmunt Bielejewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But to his dismay, Rickard Lundgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Stanislaw Domin's late challenge caught a Kingpins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanislaw Domin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Stanislaw Domin got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guo Ke Peng in the 43rd minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guo Ke Peng in the 46th minute of the match.

Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Roman Matai successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 59 minutes into the game, STAL ST WOLA's Zygmunt Bielejewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kingpins's Brendan Leblanc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 97th minute of play. The STAL ST WOLA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kingpins were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
