The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bret Caudill was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rickard Lundgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Bret Caudill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Lundgren in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Brent Cowan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Leblanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goal looked a bit too open when Brent Cowan came free, but Brendan Leblanc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Luiz Fábio Queiroz got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Lundgren came free, but Bret Caudill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rickard Lundgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bret Caudill. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Lundgren got free with Bret Caudill in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute Kingpins were awarded a corner. Stiff Rambo went to the cornerflag to take it. Stiff Rambo made a great header on Kingpins's corner, it was just that S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 22nd match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill got control of the ball when Rickard Lundgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Kingpins were awarded a corner. Stiff Rambo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Stiff Rambo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill did a great save. Luiz Fábio Queiroz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Rickard Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Bret Caudill made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Lundgren got free with Bret Caudill in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Rickard Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bret Caudill was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Rickard Lundgren sped through S.D. Bajen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bret Caudill. In the 41st minute, Luiz Fábio Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Lundgren. Tony Kirby charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Kirby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kingpins made a substitution. Elliot Wallin replaced Stiff Rambo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rickard Lundgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rickard Lundgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bret Caudill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rickard Lundgren in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bret Caudill saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Charlie Bravo hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Rickard Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bret Caudill was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Bret Caudill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Lundgren in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Lundgren came free, but Bret Caudill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bret Caudill didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rickard Lundgren went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Lindstrøm came free, but Bret Caudill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Chris Lindstrøm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kingpins's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.D. Bajen the free kick. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when Kingpins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Lindstrøm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 70th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Lundgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bret Caudill having to make a save. Bret Caudill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Lundgren in the 73rd minute of play. S.D. Bajen made a substitution. Abraham Boyer replaced Adrian Murillo. Kingpins made a substitution. Bo Kruuse replaced Rickard Lundgren. In the 78th minute, Bo Kruuse made a precise shot to the right of Bret Caudill. S.D. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Chris Lindstrøm came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Kingpins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Lindstrøm couldn't finish the play. Bret Caudill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Kruuse's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.D. Bajen! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Kingpins. Roger Västerstrand stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bret Caudill. 7-0. In the 94th minute, Ove Ahlström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brendan Leblanc made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Tony Kirby sent off a good shot on target. S.D. Bajen's Tony Kirby came free and shot a quick shot against goal 96 minutes in the game, fortunately Brendan Leblanc had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 97th minute, Anton Trimble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute Roger Västerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Caudill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
