Juan Pueblo scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Janusz Tomaka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Juan Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jakub Gabis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Best Castray having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Gabis in the 24th minute of play forced ARGIES's goalkeeper Best Castray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Szombry booed when ARGIES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Aldaeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, ARGIES's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Gabis came free, but Best Castray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ARGIES's Patrick Crippa got a free kick in the 29th minute. Juan Pueblo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Janusz Tomaka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esteban Gentza kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Jakub Gabis came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Szombry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakub Gabis couldn't finish the play. If Juan Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Best Castray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Giertych in the 42nd minute of the match. Chico Aldaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakub Gabis to strike the kick off in the second half. Esteban Gentza's late challenge caught a FC Szombry's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Gentza helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes ARGIES got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Gentza. After 55 minutes, Patrick Crippa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ARGIES and the FC Szombry players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrick Crippa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. ARGIES's Best Castray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Giertych in the 57th minute of play. Patrick Crippa hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Chico Aldaeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, ARGIES's Best Castray got control of the ball when Jakub Gabis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre-Antoine Naudon in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Janusz Tomaka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the game, Patrick Crippa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Janusz Tomaka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ARGIES made a substitution. Lázaro Peio replaced Benjamin Kamin. FC Szombry's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tanek Lichorobiec in the 77th minute. After taking down the ball on FC Szombry's corner Tanek Lichorobiec fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Best Castray quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Juan Pueblo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janusz Tomaka was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, FC Szombry's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Aldaeta came free, but Janusz Tomaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
