A collision led to Tierras altas AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Diego Armando Maradona hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Taha Ali might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Natal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Taha Ali ran back to his position shaking his head. Taha Ali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Natal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Taha Ali kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonio Natal. That made the score 1-5 in the 75 minute of play. Tanek Bury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 81st minute of play.
