Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gino Galante in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vintilă Murgu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gino Galante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintilă Murgu having to interfere. Ronan McCunn might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Emander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronan McCunn ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the game, George Ghionea threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Owls's Du Chen Nan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xu Xun Jian during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 26 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Galante came free, but Vintilă Murgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vintilă Murgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Galante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino Galante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vintilă Murgu having to make a save. After having played for 35 minutes, Ronan McCunn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Huns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronan McCunn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vintilă Murgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Galante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Galante in the 38th minute of play forced The Huns's goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Owls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by William Creemers in the 39th minute. The Owls's William Creemers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vintilă Murgu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 44th minute, William Creemers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes The Huns got a freekick which was hit by Sigfrid Weikert.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronan McCunn to strike the kick off in the second half. The Huns's Vintilă Murgu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Galante in the 56th minute of play. Jan-Åke Emander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronan McCunn in the 58th minute of play. The Huns's Xu Xun Jian quite brazenly broke a throw-in by A.J. Bufi, made in the 59th minute of the game. After 61 played minutes The Owls got a freekick which was hit by A.J. Bufi. Gino Galante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Vintilă Murgu made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Gino Galante made a precise shot to the right of Vintilă Murgu. The Huns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of The Huns booed when The Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. A.J. Bufi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Åke Emander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekber Merdan in the 81st minute of play. Gino Galante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vintilă Murgu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Owls's Ubarna Harroyo was substituted for Gino Galante. Jan-Åke Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekber Merdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, The Owls's goal looked a bit too open when Ekber Merdan came free, but Jan-Åke Emander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Ubarna Harroyo came free, but Vintilă Murgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes The Owls got a freekick which was hit by Robert Uncescu. Ubarna Harroyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
