In the 10th match minute, Flodde CFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Åhlberg to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lundberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jailson Batista in the 12th minute. Jailson Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Dante Lundberg made a huge save. Dante Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Queirós in the 17th minute of the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Percy Prestes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dante Lundberg but with some difficulty. With an all-out effort, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dante Lundberg threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orelio Picka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Lundberg made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jailson Batista sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If João Adolfo Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Couto's late challenge caught a Flodde CFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toninho Couto helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Couto. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Flodde CFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Andberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Ahlroht came free, but Gil Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jailson Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jailson Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime de Mendonça in the 68th minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Dante Lundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Jailson Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Jaime de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Toninho Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Cesinha Teles got a free kick in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Jailson Batista notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Flodde CFC's Dante Lundberg. Dante Lundberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Batista in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Jailson Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barcellos Mineiro FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
