The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 minutes, Gabriel Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barrera 2.0 and the Strömsbro IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomás Travassos came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Strömsbro IF's Sebastian Rosen. But to his dismay, Sebastian Rosen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Per-Olof Walroth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valério dos Santos in the 18th minute. After 20 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Pihlgren. In the 21st minute of the match Gabriel Velasco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Olof Walroth skillfully saved the ball. 26 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Billberg came free, but Thomás Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's Valério Xavier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Olof Walroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strömsbro IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. FC Barrera 2.0's Gabriel Velasco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Per-Olof Walroth in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's Alex Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Olof Walroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Osvaldo Vianna struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Per-Olof Walroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barrera 2.0. After 41 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Pihlgren. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Rosen to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Xavier came free, but Per-Olof Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago de Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago de Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when FC Barrera 2.0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Olof Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Gildo Novaes hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Alex Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Per-Olof Walroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Valério Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Felix Ekrot got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Valério dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
