Cássio Montenegro's late challenge caught a Strömsbro IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Cássio Montenegro got a free kick in the 10th minute. Per-Olof Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orelio Picka in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Jailson Batista recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Per-Olof Walroth. Jailson Batista showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 30th minute of the game Percy Prestes made a throw-in which Cesinha Teles played forward. Gil Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Gil Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Billberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orelio Picka to maneuver through the defense. Percy Prestes got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cesinha Teles. In the 44th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo Hermes to maneuver through the defense. When Oskar Pihlgren fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strömsbro IF's protests and gave Oskar Pihlgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Pihlgren. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jailson Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Walroth having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Ivan Billberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Barcellos Mineiro FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Strömsbro IF:s goal. Ivan Billberg did an outstanding performance 85 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Gil Coelho in the goal. Toninho Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Rosen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 100th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Olof Walroth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Strömsbro IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
