In the 11th minute Valério Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvino Galnares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Agamenón Ruiz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Barrera 2.0's Thomás Travassos. Thomás Travassos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the match, Agamenón Ruiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomás Travassos. FC Barrera 2.0's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agamenón Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Barrera 2.0! FC Barrera 2.0's Thomás Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Prieto in the 20th minute of play. Alvino Galnares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Valério dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Alvino Galnares made a huge save. Salud y República's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Valério dos Santos 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Juan Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Valério dos Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barrera 2.0 and the Salud y República players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valério dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Salud y República was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. FC Barrera 2.0 made a substitution. Mazinho Mattos replaced Thiago de Castro. After 76 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Dominguez. Valério Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes FC Barrera 2.0 got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Dias. When Agamenón Ruiz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Salud y República fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agamenón Ruiz couldn't finish the play. Salud y República's Alvino Galnares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Xavier in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Salud y República getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Juvenal Noya hit a great ball. Salud y República's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
