In the 2nd minute, Marcus Rönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Lenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Lars-Erik Ivarsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harry Igelström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Oihenarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Kingpins's Harry Igelström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Oihenarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ture Torsberg hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Harry Igelström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kingpins fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Kingpins getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Marcus Rönn hit a great ball. Aquiles Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Lenberg in the 36th minute of play. Mattias Asserlind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Lars-Erik Ivarsson notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte. Aquiles Oihenarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute, Harry Igelström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Oihenarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikael Ekeberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Charles Lenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingpins's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Lenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Admon to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Lars-Erik Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson in the 60th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Kingpins's Lars-Erik Ivarsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Kingpins's Ralf Olsmann was substituted for Charles Lenberg. Aquiles Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Nils-Åke Åkerman got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ralf Olsmann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquiles Oihenarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Ralf Olsmann slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Kingpins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Torsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikael Ekeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Oihenarte having to interfere. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Teobaldo Milian hit a great ball. Salvador Honesto hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute of the match Sven Bållström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Oihenarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
