The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Nisporeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Billberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iurie Cocoș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Billberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Ferdinand Chirculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iurie Cocoș was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivan Billberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Sebastian Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Cocoș having to interfere. Dan Năstase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iurie Cocoș didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Ivan Billberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Iurie Cocoș when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iurie Cocoș. That made the score 4-0 after 47 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

If Ivan Billberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Billberg came free, but Iurie Cocoș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Ivan Billberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some careless play in the Scorpions -MM- defense, Ivan Billberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iurie Cocoș. The Scorpions -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iurie Cocoș should have stopped the shot. Iurie Cocoș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Billberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Rickard Söder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iurie Cocoș skillfully saved the ball. When Aurel Andriescu fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scorpions -MM-'s protests and gave Aurel Andriescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Aurel Andriescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Söder in the 87th minute of play. Strömsbro IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
