Leo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Xavier in the 9th minute of play. Saverio Chaime's late challenge caught a FC Barrera 2.0's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio Chaime helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Chaime. After 11 played minutes, FC Barrera 2.0's Gabriel Velasco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Rosio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Barrera 2.0 reached it. In the 11th match minute, Angua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Blasco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério dos Santos in the 13th minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Leo Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério dos Santos in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes FC Barrera 2.0 got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Montenegro. 20 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Xavier came free, but Leo Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Barrera 2.0's Valério Xavier in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leo Rosio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Valério Xavier scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Rosio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Angua FC's goalkeeper Leo Rosio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 minutes, Virgílio Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barrera 2.0 and the Angua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Virgílio Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Barrera 2.0's Osvaldo Vianna in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angua FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valério Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Ivan Esiquio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angua FC and the FC Barrera 2.0 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Esiquio. When Eduardo Blasco fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angua FC's protests and gave Eduardo Blasco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Barrera 2.0 booed when Angua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Blasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério dos Santos in the 58th minute of the match. Fidel Bittor charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Bittor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Angua FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fidel Bittor hit a great ball. Leo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Lara in the 67th minute of play. In the 78th minute, José Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Barrera 2.0 made a substitution. Betão Paulista replaced Osvaldo Vianna. FC Barrera 2.0's Mazinho Mattos was substituted for Thiago de Castro. After 79 played minutes FC Barrera 2.0 got a freekick which was hit by José Loureiro. Leo Rosio was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Valério dos Santos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valério dos Santos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 85th minute, Valério dos Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leo Rosio. The goal made the score 0-6. 88 minutes into the game, Valério Xavier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Leo Rosio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernan Bartoli's late challenge caught a FC Barrera 2.0's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Bartoli helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Angua FC's Fernan Bartoli got a free kick in the 94th minute. The FC Barrera 2.0 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Barrera 2.0 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
