Valentin Şteţ's late challenge caught a Barcellos Mineiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Şteţ helped the player get up and apologised. Valentin Şteţ kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Iurie Cocoș came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jailson Batista. But to his dismay, Jailson Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jailson Batista got free with Iurie Cocoș in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Orelio Picka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iurie Cocoș was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Scorpions -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tadeu Guerra took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jailson Batista got free with Iurie Cocoș in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Aurel Andriescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeu Guerra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 34th playminute. Gil Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Năstase in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Teles. Tadeu Guerra hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ferdinand Chirculescu hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jailson Batista made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jailson Batista in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iurie Cocoș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Alexandru Siteavu got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Barcellos Mineiro FC's Orelio Picka in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scorpions -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Alexandru Siteavu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Toninho Couto replaced Tadeu Guerra. In the 67th minute, Alexandru Siteavu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orelio Picka in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Toninho Couto got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Batista in the 86th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Iurie Cocoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jailson Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jailson Batista sped through Scorpions -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iurie Cocoș. Iurie Cocoș came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jailson Batista. But to his dismay, Jailson Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Barcellos Mineiro FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
