The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when Каблешково was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzeno Orozov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Ahlén. After having played for 15 minutes, Gencho Zhalov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Каблешково's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gencho Zhalov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Brunko Kyutev came free, but Per-Olof Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes Strömsbro IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antim Zheynov who took care of the corner kick. Каблешково's Antim Zheynov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Per-Olof Walroth in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 22nd minute Brunko Kyutev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ginyo Berchev came free, but Per-Olof Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleko Milanov hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Каблешково's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Jörn Hermansson scored to the left of an out of position Vencho Gazibarov, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Каблешково's zone, Ivan Billberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vencho Gazibarov came out of the goal and Ivan Billberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The crowd rose to their feet as Каблешково's Brunko Kyutev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Per-Olof Walroth. That made the score 1-1 after 55 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brunko Kyutev in the 61st minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Per-Olof Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Olof Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brunko Kyutev, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jan-Erik Ingemarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Каблешково's Brunko Kyutev got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 79th minute, Каблешково's Brunko Kyutev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After 82 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Ingemarsson. The crowd rose to their feet as Каблешково's Bogdan Tegarkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Per-Olof Walroth. That made the score 1-3 after 85 minutes of play. Per-Olof Walroth was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Gencho Zhalov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gencho Zhalov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Каблешково's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
