Abuy Mustaqim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agamenón Ruiz in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of SAPI FC booed when Salud y República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salud y República's goalkeeper Alvino Galnares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salud y República's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jahfal Saroge was slow to take the kick. During this time SAPI FC's players had a chance to rest. SAPI FC's Jahfal Saroge was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alvino Galnares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 12 minutes, Agamenón Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salud y República's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agamenón Ruiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agamenón Ruiz in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abuy Mustaqim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adulfo Teresa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abuy Mustaqim came out and tried to block the shot, but Adulfo Teresa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Fitrah Pandelaki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAPI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salud y República the free kick. A collision led to SAPI FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fitrah Pandelaki hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juvenal Noya got free with Abuy Mustaqim in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes of play, Salud y República's Agamenón Ruiz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abuy Mustaqim was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Juan Dominguez fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salud y República's protests and gave Juan Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. Alvino Galnares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munawir Suheri in the 38th minute of the match. SAPI FC's Randy Wijoyo pulled a muscle in his leg after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Perico Segarra fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salud y República's protests and gave Perico Segarra a yellow card for diving instead. SAPI FC's Didik Sjahrir was substituted for Randy Wijoyo. After 47 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Perico Segarra.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agamenón Ruiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juvenal Noya kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. SAPI FC's Abuy Mustaqim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adulfo Teresa in the 54th minute of play. Abuy Mustaqim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adulfo Teresa in the 57th minute of play. When Salud y República's Adulfo Teresa in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
