The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iurie Cocoș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Bartoli in the 8th minute of the match. Ferdinand Chirculescu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Bartoli. Gogo Burutzagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Cocoș having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Dan Năstase was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scorpions -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angua FC the free kick. When Ivan Esiquio came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Angua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Esiquio couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Etor. In the 38th minute, Angua FC's Eduardo Blasco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eduardo Blasco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Angua FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eduardo Blasco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 38 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Blasco. Emil Bărnuțiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Leo Rosio made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Gogo Burutzagi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Angua FC's Luisito Etor got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Năstase hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Angua FC booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Zăvoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Emesto hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes, Scorpions -MM-'s Emil Bărnuțiu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Rosio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scorpions -MM- reached it. Gogo Burutzagi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gogo Burutzagi scored 0-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iurie Cocoș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angua FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
