In the 3rd minute Osvaldo Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kingpins's Mattias Asserlind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Xavier in the 6th minute of play. Valério dos Santos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kingpins! With a little luck, FC Barrera 2.0's Thomás Travassos got control of the ball when Harry Igelström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute Kingpins were awarded a corner. Sven Bållström went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Kingpins's Sven Bållström to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomás Travassos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Ivarsson in the 28th minute of play forced FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper Thomás Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Xavier in the 36th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Mattias Asserlind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Asserlind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Xavier in the 41st minute of the match. Thomás Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson in the 44th minute of play. Thiago de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Kingpins's Mikael Ekeberg was substituted for Harry Igelström. After 48 played minutes FC Barrera 2.0 got a freekick which was hit by Thiago de Castro.

Scipio Africano hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC Barrera 2.0's Gabriel Velasco tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thomás Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. FC Barrera 2.0's Paulão Dias was substituted for Virgílio Montenegro. After 70 played minutes FC Barrera 2.0 got a freekick which was hit by Thiago de Castro. FC Barrera 2.0's Betão Paulista was substituted for Osvaldo Vianna. In the 70th minute, Thiago de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Lars-Erik Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Xavier came free, but Mattias Asserlind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Barrera 2.0's Betão Paulista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mattias Asserlind. That made the score 1-2 after 82 minutes of play. FC Barrera 2.0 made a substitution. Mazinho Mattos replaced Thiago de Castro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Ekeberg in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Travassos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mattias Asserlind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Pinheiro in the 88th minute of play. If Adalberto Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Barrera 2.0 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
