In the 2nd minute Torsten Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Nițoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Hristea hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Sebastian Purje's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Kleen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Nechifor in the 11th minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Eduard Nechifor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Sebastian Purje cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Casper Kleen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Casper Kleen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Purje in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mattias Willig hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Codruț Ichimescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Purje to maneuver through the defense. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Horaţiu Nițoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Ichimescu to maneuver through the defense. Panait Vochin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half -BZF- Barca de Buzau were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Sebastian Purje dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Mean Machine's Robin Hultstrand was substituted for Stig-Arne Wallin. Mean Machine made a substitution. Rune Anselius replaced Torsten Berglund. If Eduard Nechifor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Purje's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Kleen was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Horaţiu Nițoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Anselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduard Nechifor struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Casper Kleen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for -BZF- Barca de Buzau. In the 76th minute, Rune Anselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Robin Hultstrand. Horaţiu Nițoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Hultstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Ovidiu Pătrașcu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casper Kleen. Casper Kleen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. -BZF- Barca de Buzau walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
