After 6 played minutes, Sundens BK's Conny Mårtensson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casper Kleen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sundens BK reached it. Henry Alebäck's late challenge caught a Sundens BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Alebäck helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 19 in the game by Henry Alebäck from a close distance when the talented Wilhelm Säv managed to make a qualified save. Sundens BK's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Henry Alebäck sped through Sundens BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilhelm Säv. After 34th play minutes Henry Alebäck shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Wilhelm Säv and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 39th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Willig to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match Conny Mårtensson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Kleen skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Wilhelm Klemensson hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Alebäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Henry Alebäck came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Mean Machine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Alebäck couldn't finish the play. Mean Machine's Rune Anselius was substituted for Torsten Berglund. Mean Machine's Robin Hultstrand was substituted for Stig-Arne Wallin. Mean Machine made a substitution. Gösta Kämpe replaced Rune Åhman. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Torsten Berglund got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Henry Alebäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Rune Anselius put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wilhelm Säv. Casper Kleen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Mårtensson in the 69th minute of the match. Rune Anselius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Börje Askestät got a free kick in the 75th minute. Rune Anselius took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilhelm Säv. Wilhelm Säv dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After some careless play in the Sundens BK defense, Rune Anselius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilhelm Säv. The Sundens BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilhelm Säv should have stopped the shot. Wilhelm Klemensson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Mean Machine walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
